One of the most important figureheads in dance music full stop, calling Terre Thaemlitz simply a DJ would be selling her way too short – she’s a voice for not just the deep house with which she’s associated but queer clubbing as a whole and all of its different facets. Her DJ sets are as intellectual as they are emotionally moving, so Dutch Dekmantel-affiliated producer Young Marco’s balearic approach to his productions should accompany her sound to a tee.
