Has anyone enjoyed a more stratospheric rise than Hunee over the past twelve months? That’s not to say he hasn’t put in work, he has, and then some. Releasing his debut album on Rush Hour and then curating Soichi Terada’s compilation on the same label, the real joy came from witnessing Hun Choi spin countless crowds into a frenzy. Joining him at Phonox is New York’s DIY house practitioner Willie Burns.
